About Gina Sugarek, PT
Gina has always known that she wanted to work with people to increase their abilities and hopefully their quality of life. Gina’s father struggled with several illnesses that caused him to have physical setbacks and deprived him of doing the things he once loved. Gina realized she found great joy in helping him figure out how he could get back to doing things he loved – primarily ranching. As Gina got older, she was able to witness how physical therapy rehabilitation helped many individuals in resuming a quality life. Gina excelled in science and loved studying the human body so becoming a PT seemed to be a wonderful combination. While in college, her experience and fascination for anatomy grew. She was subsequently hired to be the Graduate Assistant for an upper level anatomy class where she taught the cadaver lab portion of the class for a two year period.
Gina graduated with her Master’s of Physical Therapy, married, passed her Physical Therapy licensure test, and began her first full time PT job within a span of two months. Gina began her Physical Therapy career working for a local home health agency where she continues to work as a contract worker. Gina has broadened her clinical skills by contracting for local nursing homes, local hospital, local high schools, and at BPT outpatient clinic. Gina feels blessed to have met many wonderful people in the community and feels honored to be a part of their rehabilitation success.
