About Dr. Rachelle Schaver, DPT, PT
Rachelle was introduced to the field of physical therapy while in college. She was a 4-year starting letterman for the Lady Husky softball team at Houston Baptist University where she double-majored in Biology and Kinesiology. As a collegiate athlete and a fitness and wellness enthusiast, she knew physical therapy would afford her the opportunity to share her passion in these areas. After graduating from HBU, she attended Physical Therapy school in El Paso at UTMB Galveston’s co-operative program. Following graduation, she moved back to Houston and began her career in outpatient orthopedic and sports medicine. After 17 years of practice with her Master’s of Physical Therapy degree, she went back to school to complete her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree.
Rachelle’s professional career has focused on outpatient orthopedic medicine, both surgical and nonsurgical. With the mobility afforded by her husband’s career, she has had the opportunity to work in many different clinics and work with a variety of patient populations and ages.
Rachelle joined Beeville Physical Therapy in January of 2021. When not taking care of her patients at BPT, she enjoys time with her husband and three children. She enjoys an active lifestyle with weight training, running, biking, rowing, hiking and traveling.
Rachelle enjoys passing knowledge on to her patients so that they not only return to full function and the things they love to do, but they also obtain the knowledge to help prevent future injury.
